Background and track record:

Royalty World was founded by Doris Ngum in London UK in 2006. In a quest to understand the secret out of poverty. She read the word “inside-out” in “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, by Stephen Covey”. Royalty Started officially on the 4th of February 2011 at Swiss Cottage Library a meeting attended by 5 ladies with the desire to build a community of people who are passionate about making a difference in their lives, community, and nation for Kingdom purposes. Since then, God has significantly expanded the vision to see nations rebuilt by a transformation inside out. Doris moved to Cameroon on June 12th, 2012, and launched Royalty World. Our first program was the Royalty Business Forum a weekly gathering of young change makers, social entrepreneurs and community leaders, and CEOs who desired to see their community change. Through personal transformation in the sessions, we launched the Royalty Business Breakfast in 2014, a monthly meeting that has inspired thousands of youths to unleash their potential and take bold steps to start and develop social enterprises, organizations, and businesses nationwide. With the emergence of several change-making initiatives in the community, we decided to launch the Bolifamba Community Transformation Project in 2016 with a ten-year development goal to see Bolifamba (a rural community-based in the southwest region of Cameroon and HQ of Royalty World) transform into an Urban Socio Economically Flourishing community with functional families, by equipping and engaging 300 transformational leaders and Entrepreneurs by 2026”. This expansion of our activities earmarked a turning point in the operations of Royalty World, and as this activity garnered success and attention, the Royalty World team began to grow and diversify. Currently, Royalty World focuses on three main areas, economic response, education response, and protection response, with several running programs and projects. The organization runs scholarship schemes, economic empowerment schemes, menstrual hygiene, and protection interventions with significant levels of diversity. While historically we have prioritized women and girls in our programming, the changing dynamics in community realities is pushing the increased and intentional inclusion of men and boys in our target beneficiaries. With initiatives like “Boys Engage”, we are changing the narrative of development response in the areas of protection and GBV. Royalty World remains a growing organization determined to transform the communities it serves by transforming the members of these communities inside out. As at now, we have reached 10,000+ people, both within and out of Bolifamba as our activities exceed Bolifamba to engae other areas in Bakassi, Tiko, LImbe, Wotowoto, Yaounde, Bamenda, among others.
